Holidays in Arenal d'en Castell centre around the much photographed sweeping horseshoe-shaped sandy bay. Travel to Arenal d'en Castell and you'll soon see why. Fringed by pine woodland, its warm, shallow waters are particularly popular with families with young children and couples can take to the water with a range of water sports.
Although the resort itself cascades down the sloping sides of the bay, getting about is made easy thanks to a mini train – the kids will love it! And should you wish to venture further afield, a bus service to the capital, Mahon , and the nearby fishing village of Fornells will take you there in no time at all.
A small number of bars in the resort means that there is some low-key nightlife for those who want it but it's not enough to disturb that all important rest and relaxation.
