Valldemossa or Valdemosa is a small scenic village situated on the north west coast of Mallorca (Majorca) The Village is located below the mountains of the Serra Tramuntana and have amazing views across the Mediterranean and the mountains. Like the Village of Deya, Valdemossa has attracted artists, musicians and poets, with one of the most famous being Frederic Chopin, who lived and wrote many of his works in the Village. Some of most recent people that have residences near the village are Michael Douglas and his wife.
Valldemossa has some amazing walks and for those that enjoy the outdoors especially for walking the village is an ideal base. There is a small sheltered beach 3 km away to enjoy.
The village has a great selection of bars and restaurants to enjoy but nigh life is very low key.
