Colonia Sant Jordi is a resort on the south coast of Mallorca that has escaped the development in recent years of other Majorca resorts, it is in fact a local best kept secret, with some of the best beaches only the locals know about, Es Trenc is easily walk able from Colonia Sant Jordi and is well worth spending your days on the beach and in the sun. The village itself has many restaurants and bars but all are low key and perfect for those that want a typical Mallorquin time without the hustle and bustle.
Well worth doing is taking a small charter ferry boat to the Isla Cabrera, which is small island nature reserve famous for its Birds and very rare flora also its dolphins.
