Cala Bona has been built around a small picturesque fishing port. Cala Bona has several good quality hotels and complexes, most of which provide a full range of entertainment food all inclusive self catering or half board.
There are a number of bars and restaurants in the area offering traditional Mallorcan dishes as well as the typical "British" fare.
Nightlife is fairly quiet therefore an ideal resort for families or couples and of course sun and beach worshippers. There are several bars now offering Live Entertainment during the evenings. The nearby resort of Cala Millor, which is within walking distance, is available if you fancy a change and a livelier night.
For golfers there are 4 courses in the area, 3 of them 18 hole and one 9 hole.
The coastline is rocky with small bays and stretches of sand so no great expanses but lots of small coves where you can spend your days. Cala Bona will not disappoint.
