The Kalimera Mare Hotel is a luxury 4 star hotel in Kardamena and is only a few metres from the seashore, some 4km from the village of Kardamena and roughly 35 kilometres from the town of Kos, in a beautiful area of the island. Kos Island International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 7km.
In total the hotel consists of 61 rooms distributed between the main building - Diagoras, and 5 smaller buildings - Aretusa, Ikaros, Aspasia, Ismini and Pergola. Amongst the hotel facilities and services are a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange service, a mini market (Agora) and an amphitheatre. In addition, a hotel safe, TV lounge, children's adventure playground, kids' club in the garden, a café, a bar and a restaurant are provided. Wireless Internet access is available at the property and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park.
Rooms
All the buildings have a ground and first floor. There are two main types of rooms which are 38 twin rooms with either an extra bed or a sofa that can be converted into a normal size bed, and 23 suites (two-room family unit) which have a bedroom and a lounge area with two sofas that can be converted into normal size beds. The rooms are furnished with king-size beds. All the rooms are provided with satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, a fridge, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a telephone and a music channel. The en suite bathrooms feature a hairdryer, most with a bath and some with shower. A radio and a balcony or terrace are further standard amenities. Most of the rooms have a sea view and some have view to the garden.
Sport
Guests can enjoy doing a variety of sports that are organized in the Hotel Akti Kalimera Club (which belongs to the hotel group) such as water sports, beach volleyball, archery, bocce, diving school and other sports that the entertainment team organizes. The children's pool oasis and the children's entertainment programmes are some of the facilities to ensure young guests and their families a pleasant holiday. There is also a swimming pool for adults, waterslide swimming pool for children, beach with sun loungers and parasols free for the hotel guests. Refreshments are served at the poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out at the hotel. Guests may also like to make use of the gym - Achilleas, as well as the aqua fit and aerobics sessions.

Notes
There is a refundable deposit of around 50 EUR for the air conditioning and TV remote controls. There is also a gym that is available for all guests at a charge of 5 EUR per visit.
