The Nile Cruise Siteseeing package can be booked as an extra at your welcoming meeting in Luxor on your arrival day. Please budget £100 or $160 per person.

Nile Cruise Site Seeing itinerary. Please take day 1 as your arrival date into Luxor

Day 1: You will be met at Luxor airport and transferred to your 5 star Nile cruise boat that you have been allocated to, check in, relax and dine on board that evening. Stay overnight in Luxor and enjoy the sunset!

Day 2: After breakfast, the morning tour starts at the East Bank with a visit to Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple, Afternoon time to relax then sail on the Nile to Esna and visit the partly excavated Temple of Khnum then sailing onwards to Edfu and moor overnight, enjoy your evening meal onboard.

Day 3: After breakfast you will visit the Temple of Horus, and then we set off on an afternoon cruise onto Aswan for the night.

Day 4: Visit the Aswan High Dam which was finished in 1971, followed by a trip to the Unfinished Obelisk which is still rooted to the bedrock, you can see the original work of the craftsman’s tools embedded in the granite. Then it's off to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island by a small boat with your tour guide. then in the afternoon enjoy a trip in a traditional Felluca boat ride across to Elephantine Island which is where you will find the Botanical Gardens, visitors enjoy the beautiful flowers and trees, take time for a coffee in the gardens or visit the Movenpick hotel for a drink on the top panoramic floor and marvel at the view of Aswan (a must do). Your evening will offer you a show with a Nubian dance troop and maybe a little participation! Spend and overnight stay on your cruise boat in Aswan.

Day 5: Optional excursion to the ancient wonder of Abu Simbel which is bookable and payable locally. For guests not taking the optional excursion, the day is free to explore Aswan city and its many outdoor markets. Then an overnight stay on your cruise boat in Aswan.

Day 6: After breakfast we sail in the mornings to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Your Nile Cruise boat then sails onwards to Luxor stopping off at the Edfu Temple for clients who joined the boat in Aswan, You can take time relax and enjoy the sunshine on the sun deck, and have afternoon tea. We then sail back to Esna and moor overnight, enjoy a meal and a few drinks.

Day 7: A visit to the West Bank and to the Valley of the Kings, followed by trip to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon then back to your cruise boat where you can join in various evening’s entertainment. Stay overnight in Luxor and enjoy your evening meal.

Day 8: Check out of your cabin/suite by 11:00 hours ready for your transfer to Luxor international airport for your return flight to the UK.

The Nile Cruise Site Seeing package can be booked as an extra at the booking summary stage at the time of booking your Nile cruise alternatively you can book at your welcoming meeting in Luxor on your arrival day please budget for $150 per person.

The excursion itinerary can change depending upon your arrival day but you will still see all the sites mentioned but they may be done on different days.
