Ayia Napa has been the clubbing Mecca for young people since the 90s, Clubs like The Castle Club, Abyss and Bars like Bedrock, Lost City have helped shape Ayia Napa as we know and love it today. Although best known for its nightlife, Ayia Napa is becoming increasingly popular with families looking for a lively atmosphere with live music bars becoming more popular all the time. In Ayia Napa, anything is possible and age simply isn't a barrier. If you want to dance all night, explore new sports and activities all day, shop for bargains or soak up the sun, no one's going to stop you here!
Ayia Napa is split into two parts Ayia Napa and Nissi beach. Ayia Napa is where the young and lively crew go with Ayia Napa Square being the main focal point this place is packed full of Bars and Night clubs, obviously there are loads of fast food joints in the area including KFC Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut.
Nissi Beach on the other hand has mainly 4 and 5 star hotels right on the beach and what a beach it is Nissi Beach is probably the best beach in Cyprus. Nissi Beach is mainly for the couples and family market with Bars and restaurants catering very well for kids. There is also a fair ground Go Kart track and a huge Water park in the area as I said it is geared up for the family market. Nissi beach is also superb for watersports with Jet skis and water skiing ringos etc offered on the beach,
Holidays in Ayia Napa really do have the best of both worlds. On the one hand, the resort's a buzzing party paradise, bustling with cutting-edge clubs and trendy bars. On the other hand though, there's a more tranquil side to this once fishing village. Beautiful snow-white beaches, narrow cobbled streets and serene shady squares all show off a different side to Ayia Napa holidays. Take a look at the medieval monastery and stroll around its gorgeous gardens. Flop down onto the silvery sands of Nissi Beach were the waters sparkle like crystal. Or pull up a chair at a pavement cafe in the atmospheric main square and watch the world go by.
